DUAL ROLE FOR CEO FAUSTO COSI, WHO BECOMES PRESIDENT OF IRPLAST
HIROSHI SUZUKI, FORMER PRESIDENT, APPOINTED CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER OF TOPPAN
Empoli (Florence), 25th of June 2026: IRPLAST is entering a new phase in its development journey with an important change at the top of the company. Fausto Cosi, included in the Top 100 Managers FORBES Italy for 2025 and already Chief Executive Officer of the company, also assumes the role of President, confirming TOPPAN’s trust in his leadership and in the company’s growth path.
At the same time, Hiroshi Suzuki, former President of IRPLAST, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer of TOPPAN. Suzuki will continue to serve on IRPLAST’s Board of Directors, ensuring continuity in the relationship between the company and the Japanese Group.
The new structure, defined by the Board of Directors and effective as of 23 June, represents a significant step in the integration and growth process initiated with the company’s entry into the TOPPAN Group. One year after this important milestone, the new management organization aims to consolidate the results achieved and create the conditions to face the next industrial and commercial challenges with greater solidity.
Fausto Cosi’s appointment as President, alongside his confirmation as Chief Executive Officer, reflects the strong trust placed by TOPPAN in IRPLAST’s management and in its ability to guide the company through a phase of profound evolution. This decision strengthens governance continuity and enhances a managerial path built on deep knowledge of the company, the market and its future development prospects.
IRPLAST’s growth path will continue to focus on defining a long-term strategic vision and strengthening the company’s positioning in European and international markets. Key priorities will remain product and process innovation, sustainability, industrial efficiency and the ability to anticipate transformations in the sector, with the aim of enhancing IRPLAST’s distinctive strengths while integrating them into a broader international strategy capable of generating new opportunities for growth and development.
