IRPLAST AT W+D DIRECT MAIL DAYS 2018 TO PRESENT AN INNOVATIVE S-BOPP FILMS FOR ENVELOPES WINDOWING

Following up on its debut in the envelope window market last year, Irplast brings new functionality options to leading envelope manufacturers. After 18 months of experience in the envelopes industry, Irplast has gone several steps further reducing plastic quantity and costs.

Thicknesses and functionality are Irplast’ s key words for envelope manufacturers. From 13th to 14th June  Irplast has been attended to W+D Direct Mail Days 2018 in Neuwied in Germany – the convention that reunites major players of the envelope industry – to present its innovative envelope window film range to downgauge and replace alternative materials used for envelope windowing. After 18 months of experience in the envelopes industry, Irplast has gone several steps further, integrating the feedback and requests from the market players into the R&D pipeline program, and coming up with further products for specific manufacturers requirements. The Company started producing the first special films developed thanks to the interaction with the major players of the industry, and responding as usual to the need to reduce plastic quantity and costs.

“ENV”,”NENV” and “STFF” are the first S-BOPP films for window envelopes produced by Irplast thanks to a unique LISIM simultaneous orientation productive process which allows the creation of films with a very high elasticity modulus and a very low elongation at break, ideally suited for the high-speed windowing application with perfect lay-flat properties on the finished pro. Irplast has created the possibility for large-scale envelope manufacturers to decrease the weight and unit cost of the plastic and paper materials traditionally used for see-through windows.
